ANSI Allergen Awarness Certification

Food Allergen Regulations

Each passing year sees more states bring in legislation that makes allergen training a legal requirement:

  • Illinois
  • Michigan
  • Rhode Island
  • Massachusets
  • Montogmery County

If your state currently does not have any legal requirement, under federal law, FDA Food Code 2017, you still have a legal responsibility to serve food that is safe and do everything possible to protect the consumer. Protecting an Allergy Sufferer falls within this Food Code.

We strongly recommended that anyone who works within the food industry completes an allergen training course.

Remember, simply put, a basic mistake could kill somebody!

Every three minutes, a food allergy reaction sends someone to the emergency room in the USA.

This sort of statistic shows the dangers of untrained staff in a foodservice establishment. Your staff understanding the dangers of food allergies and how to deal with a sufferer could save somebody’s life.

Always Food Safe’s Allergen Awareness training is perfect for anyone working in a foodservice establishment in Illinois, Michigan, Rhode Island, Massachusets and Montogmery County.

The training teaches all staff how to deal with an allergy sufferer when they enter the restaurant. This training can save somebody’s life!
